The lower section of this got cut off because my scanner isn't big enough but I don't think you're missing too much. [well actually i guess you are because that bottom portion is the culmination [in text] of little red riding hood getting devoured]
i'm so full right now, i could vomit. *upchucks bread, pasta, etc.* or maybe i'll just watch some seinfeld.
This is my illustration of Little Red Riding Hood in case you didn't catch on. It was a project for art class and after finding that I was mildly satisfied with it I took it home before it was even due. Did you know that our teacher said that the collegeboard (for AP art testing) is more likely to appreciate pieces that have been worked on for 6+ hours? THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME OH MY GODDDDD. But anyhow, the assignment was to make a 'collage' like piece with text. then my teacher showed me two awesome art books by rackham and dulac. LOOOOOOVE. esp. rackham ohmygosh. so now i'm thinking i'll do a series of these fairy tale type things and possibly save them as a concentration idea... only, theoretically, i wouldn't be able to use this as a concentration b/c i'm not enrolled in AP Art right now and all pieces have to be made during a set time/month. but perhaps they'll be none the wiser? unless they use carbon dating but HELL i might not even take AP art because i will FAIL FAIL FAIL!!!!
i started a hansel&gretel piece as well but i don't like it half as much but i suppose i'll finish it up anyway. just have to finish up the road on that one.
This is especially cool. I love it (especially since I was just in a show called "Wooing Wed Widing Hood" last week). Wonderful job! The text is an awesome effect.
